Food Truck Catering: Frequently Asked Questions

Costs & Minimums

How much does food truck catering cost?

Catering is booked to a minimum spend of $1,500–$2,200 + tax + 15% gratuity, depending on the day of the week and season. The minimum is not an extra charge or booking fee — it simply means your food order reaches that amount, and everything served counts toward it. Your quote confirms the exact minimum for your date before you commit.

What is included in the price?

The truck and crew, on-site cooking, service for your agreed window, and full cleanup of our serving area afterward. Your quote lays out menu, timing and totals in writing.

Service Area & Travel

Where do you cater?

Across Metro Vancouver and the Lower Mainland — Surrey, Langley, Vancouver, Burnaby, New Westminster, Port Coquitlam, Coquitlam, Richmond, North Vancouver, West Vancouver, Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows — and through the Fraser Valley, including Abbotsford, Chilliwack, Mission and Aldergrove. Our base is 408-1515 Broadway Street, Port Coquitlam, BC V3C 6M2.

Do you travel outside that area?

For larger festivals and events, often yes — our fair circuit takes us across Western Canada every summer. Tell us your location and date and we will confirm.

Food & Dietary Options

What foods can we choose from?

Mini donuts, poutine, hot dogs, tornado potato, bubble tea, mac & cheese and grilled cheese from our own trucks — plus tacos and Mexican food and Greek food from our partner trucks, coordinated by us. One call can book the whole lineup.

Can you handle dietary restrictions?

In many cases, yes. Our fries are fresh-cut with no coating, so they are gluten-free; our poutine gravy is vegetarian; burgers can be served as gluten-free lettuce wraps, with veggie and vegan options available; grilled cheese and mac & cheese are vegetarian. Our mini donut mix contains wheat, milk, soy, egg and barley, so mini donuts are not gluten-free or vegan — ask us when booking and we will help you build a menu that covers your guests.

Booking & Logistics

How far ahead should we book?

As early as possible — summer weekends, Fridays and December dates fill first. That said, reach out even for near-term dates; if a truck is free, we will make it work.

Can we book multiple trucks for one event?

Yes. Multi-truck lineups are our specialty, from two trucks at a school carnival to full food programs for festivals and corporate sites. Partner trucks for tacos, Mexican and Greek food can be coordinated into the same booking.

What space and power do the trucks need?

Each setup needs a reasonably flat, accessible spot large enough for the truck or trailer plus a serving area, and room for guests to line up. Power and setup specifics depend on the unit — we confirm exact site requirements with you during booking so there are no surprises on the day.

What happens on event day?

We arrive early, set up, cook fresh on site through your service window, and clean up our area completely when service ends. You get the credit for a great event; we do the work.

Do you cater school fundraisers?

Yes — schools are a core part of what we do, from Mini Donut Day treat days to full carnivals with multiple trucks and 10% of carnival sales donated back. See our school fundraiser information or ask us for the Mini Donut Day rundown when you request a quote.
